Good morning ladies and germs. Or should I say, good middle of the night. 
Yes, it’s true – I’m posting during a rare but wicked battle of insomnia.
You know what though? It’s cool! That means I get to sleep in with my family and that feels really good on a Sunday!
Speaking of – I hope it’s okay that I post THE CUTEST PICTURES of Rob and the kee kees:
OH SNAP! How did that last one get in there?!?!?!
I promise you that picture was not staged. I literally walked into our room and there was my hunka burning love, passed out with his hands in his basketball shorts.
As an aside, Rob always sleeps with pillows over his head and face!
Thanks to everyone who left comments on my last post! I love love love diversity of opinion!! Ya’ll are SOOOO brilliant.
Some people could relate to how I reward myself with food, whereas others had the attitude that this was maybe an unhealthy practice. I love it girls. You guys are the best; thanks for sharing your insights with me, I love you to death!
Onto food-related matters. Rob and I tried Gliding Calm’s refried beans for dinner last night.
Oh yeah! 
If you’ve not tried out her creations, ya’ll better aks somebody.
I wanted to use up this stuff:
So I diced up four slices and added it to the beans.
I also included a green pepper, some onions, spices (cumin, cayenne, garlic powder, coriander), and the rest of a can of tomato paste that was doing time in the fridge.
Beautiful picture!
We were both really hungry and ate that entire pan. It was really filling and tasty!!
I had mine in salad form…
with grated fake cheese and tons of hot sauce (fave) on top!
We liked it so much that we bought two more cans of vegetarian refried black beans when we hit the store later on.

Just in case I’ve embarrassed my husband (hard to do; it’s more likely I’ve horrified my mom), I’ll include some pictures of him when he’s a little more awake. (Caroline, these are for you!)

Yes, go to the wave pool! I haven’t been to one of those since I went to Sea World when I was 6, and someone jumped on my nose. Boo.
Those pictures are so funny! At least you have a sense of humor about it… I usually get irrationally angry when Ari is sound sleep and I’ve been staring at the ceiling for five hours.

Haha, Bobby does that too. He says “my hands get cold”. What a nut. The beans look delish, and I don’t even like beans. When I was little I did actually like bbq beans with bacon, so maybe there’s hope though

I love the photos of ROb and the kitty! My cat sleeps just like that when we sleep.. except for on our necks! Seriosuly. He loves to plop his stinky little butt right on David’s face. His preference for my face comes in a close second. Love it!
