That’s what I’ve been hearing all morning from my love pie! I guess he didn’t sleep well last night.
He’s definitely going into work an hour or so later than usual!
I got up around 7:00. I was super excited to try a new product today: Bob’s Red Mill Scottish Oats!
Love his products! I made them in the microwave and they turned out good, but a little chewy. I might have cooked them too long or something. I added 1/2 cup defrosted frozen blueberries, 4 chopped prunes, and a T ground flax. For the whole sweet and creamy effect, I added some Agave nectar and a little unsweetened almond milk.
That’s a Morningstar Farms veggie patty on the side. I love ‘em! Sometimes I mix them in my oatmeal for a nice savory bowl. Since the oven was already on, I went ahead and baked some tofu for lunches. That tofu sandwich I had yesterday was so chewy and a nice change from meat! Didn’t fill me up too much but if you read my afternoon post, you can see I took care of my hunger needs.
I think I have an idea of how to make today’s tofu lunch last longer.
I’m working from home again today. Yay! I share a car with my husband and he took it today, so I’m actually kind of stranded out here in the country!


I love love love those patties too. Although I’ve never thought about adding them to oatmeal. I like them with pancakes when the syrup touches them..mmmmmm
