E: Spicy sando

I putzed for awhile - banking, vacuuming, work stuff - before having another protein rich meal! More like a mini-meal, I guess.

Turkey slices, prunes, and 1/2 cup ff plain yogurt with some Agave nectar on top. No artificial sweeteners yet today! :) If it looks like I ate that in a totally dark room, it’s true! It’s super hot every day here so I keep the blinds closed and the ceiling fans on - and the AC at 78!

While vacuuming, I came across this bug. I think it was a fuzzy spider. I smashed it but was hoping you guys could help me identify it in spite of its body being mangled. Andrea, do you (or Chris) know what it is? The exterminator already sprayed the house and the perimeter a couple times last month, so I don’t want to call them again unless this is some deadly freak of nature!

Had a great practice this morning. I actually got pretty sweaty, which was okay, but I’d already showered and done the whole routine so now I’ll just carry a little funk around! Hey it’s all organic right? (Some guy said that to me at the gym once. Kinda creepy!)

Lunch is on a new white plate! I love my yellow plates SO much but I need to have some variety for the blog. The food stands out a lot more!

I had two cups of veggies and probably 2 T of Sabra hummus for dipping.

On my sando: wedge of Laughing Cow light, large spoonful of hot mango chutney (YUM!), lettuce, 4 oz baked tofu, and lots of Italian parsley. All on 2 slices of Ezekial bread. Sooooo delicious! That cheese gave it a dense creaminess (versus the lighter creamy from ricotta) and the chutney is just spicy, sweet, and overall…FAB!

Gotta work. Have a great afternoon!

Ooh, love Sabra hummus!

Ok - no more spider pictures, Erin! I literally still have goosebumps! I had to scroll down so fast when I saw that one - spiders are my worst fear realized. My heart rate skyrockets every time I see one, and the one you killed is particularly fearsome - eeeek!

Ladies - I, too, used to be afraid of and totally disgusted by bugs. Living in Texas for a year has basically been exposure therapy for me and now I can take them on like a man! Jenn, if I give you the Thai peanut butter sauce recipe, will you forgive me? :)
